Senior management team

The Chief Officer and other key members of staff together make up the senior management team. Reporting directly to the Board of Trustees, our senior management team is responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day running of the charity.

Diana joined the charity as Director of Operations in February 2015, and became Chief Executive in January 2018.

Prior to Victim Support, Diana was Director of Operations at Shelter, where she was responsible for the housing charity’s national network of specialist face-to-face and telephone advice and support services. She has also worked in housing management, development and care, at London borough councils and housing associations.

She is Chair of a charity in south London providing advice and support to refugees.

Zoe is responsible for operational delivery across the south of England and Wales.

Zoe was a senior Detective in the Metropolitan Police before being seconded to The Prince’s Trust as their National Police Liaison Officer. Zoe then moved to Princess Alice Hospice where she was Director of People and Communities.

Zoe has a Master in Voluntary Sector Management from the Centre for Charity Excellence at CASS Business School.

Martyn joined Victim Support in 2002 and led service delivery at county and regional level.  Since 2010, he has worked nationally supporting the development and delivery of services across England and Wales. As Director of Support Services, Martyn covers a broad portfolio that includes Service Design and Quality, Technology, Communications and Governance and Knowledge and Insight.

Martyn has a degree in law, a postgraduate certificate in legal practice, and an MBA.

Simon joined Victim Support as Business Development Director in April 2020.  He started his career as a volunteer at a homelessness service in Nottingham, working with men with multiple and complex needs.  Over the last 23 years he has worked in a range of development and operational roles across the voluntary and private sector providing support to people with a variety of needs including mental health difficulties, learning disability, older people and homelessness.

Before joining Victim Support, Simon was Director Business Development for a national housing association and care and support provider where he led on strategy and partnerships resulting in significant new growth.  Simon is passionate about enabling individuals to have their voices’ heard and increasing Victim Support’s impact in supporting even more people.

Kultar joined Victim Support in 2012, taking on the role of Services Director for South and East England in 2015 and Services Director for London in 2019. He has a background in health and social care, in both the public and voluntary sectors, in particular mental health and offender health.

Kultar spent a large part of his career in the NHS leading large scale transformation projects and programmes. He is a non-executive director for a mental health and learning disabilities charity based in the South East.​​​

Jo joined Victim Support in 2010, managing victim and witness services in the north-east of England, North Yorkshire, South Yorkshire and Humberside. Jo led on the development of tiered support models for victims, the introduction of online self-guided mental-health support, and VS’s services response to Covid-19.  Jo is passionate about ensuring that VS services are agile and flexible in order to meet ever-evolving crime trends, emerging needs and reflect the impact on those affected by crime.

Previously Deputy Director for the North region, and Assistant Director for Service Design and Quality, Jo took on the role of Services Director for North and Midlands in September 2020.

Tony has worked in a variety of organisations including Transport for London, the Olympic Delivery Authority, First Group, and most recently as Finance Director at Coin Street Community Builders.

He is an active volunteer having previously been a School Governor, a Parish Councillor, and a Treasurer at Boleyn and Forest Housing Association.

He is now Chair of Friends of East Herts Orchestras, and is also an Honorary Independent Examiner at The Ware (Skillman) Charity.​​​​​
