As well as offering emotional and practical support to people affected by crime, we run a number of specialist services in North Wales, including:
Victim Support Cymru has been commissioned by the Welsh Government to support victims of hate crime and incidents in Wales. We are the official support mechanism and are working to increase reporting of hate crime and to raise awareness of what a hate crime is.

- Mental Health and Wellbeing Service
The Mental Health and Wellbeing Manager is responsible for our vulnerable victims of crime who suffer with a mental health problem. This may be a temporary mental health problem, brought on as a result of the crime, or a long standing mental health problem. We work in partnership with local health boards and our service delivery teams to provide a triage service package. As part of our wellbeing responsibilities we also carry out advocacy work on behalf of the victim with organisations such as housing and benefits agencies.
Our fraud caseworker is here to support anyone who has been a victim of a fraud or scam. We work in partnership with North Wales Police and Action Fraud to help you cope and recover following the crime. We are here to provide ongoing emotional and practical support including filling in forms, signposting, onward referrals and advocacy.
We have a dedicated serious and violent crime caseworker who is here to support victims of domestic and sexual abuse; historic or recent. We can refer you on to more specialist services, help you advocate with the police and CPS, assist with home security and provide ongoing emotional support over the telephone and face-to-face.
- Modern Slavery caseworker
Our Modern Slavery caseworker is specially trained and is here to support victims of exploitation in north Wales. Whether you are looking for some advice and guidance or some emotional support yourself we are here to help. We have excellent links with housing associations, religious groups, local authorises and third sector organisations. Our Modern Slavery caseworker is also able to provide training and engagement sessions across north Wales.
